Check out a verse from my latest hit, "Diorama":
In the day I ride llamas,
It's such a trauma, they made it into a drama.
At night, I sleep in pajamas.
Uh, uh, uh. MC CAT!
Anyways, I was scrolling through some fashion editorials, and I see this:
Something seemed really strange about the title, Pyjama Party, but I couldn't quite pin it. After a while (I won't say how long hehe), I realized it was the spelling of Pyjama. I was pretty sure it was Pajama, but I had to google it just to make sure.
But as I was typing in pajama, the word looked even weirder. Like it was some type of squash or gourd, not a piece of clothing.
After some research (from trusted scholarly articles, of course), I found out that it's pyjama in the UK, and pajama in the US. Fun fact of the day! Also, the word comes from the Persian word پايجامه if you are curious. Feel free to cite me as a source. I am a trusted site hehhehe
